#ThrowbackThursdays
The 1990’s saw another huge fashion transformation as men basically ditched any and all trends of the previous decades, all in an effort to stay fashion-relevant in the 90’s. Casual was here to stay, and minimalism became the watchword. The mainstream fashion was impacted by three major youth subcultures of the 90’s: rave, hip-hop, and grunge. T-shirts, jeans, shorts, sweatshirts, trainers and hoodies made up the majority of a man’s wardrobe. As a matter of fact, the shift was oriented towards casual fashion and an outright rejection of formality and rigidity.

Go All Blue This Wednesday
#WearitWednesday
When it comes to separates, there’s a golden rule to keep in mind, and that is to ensure there’s some element of difference between the upper and lower body. This could be a conspicuous gear-shift in color: a navy jacket on sky blue or a petrol blue jacket with navy chinos trousers. Conversely, you can maintain similar tones, but add some distinction with the fabric material. You can also experiment with a crosshatch pattern on the jacket or a totally different fabric.
Running Late, Iron On The Go!
#TeachingTuesdays
Are you always on the go, and too busy to iron your shirt? No worries. Just focus on the shirt collar. Use a hair straightener to heat the collar gently and stiffen it. Next, cover it with a suit or a jacket. Only the collar will be visible (obviously), and you’re ready to go. Now, if you have the time to iron, then just press the shirt cuffs, the collar and the front of the shirt. This is all you have to do, considering you cover the shirt with a blazer or a suit. Nobody is going to see the sleeves or the back of your shirt, with a jacket on. Usually, your body heat dissipated helps the release of any leftover wrinkles after a couple of hours.
Know The Differences Between Wrinkle-Resistant And Non-Iron Dress Shirts
Shades Of Grey For This Monday
#MotivationalMondays
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing. That’s why we recommend it daily.” –Zig Ziglar
Here’s something for those who like to look chic and understated, black and grey—when combined with a shirt or roll neck and shoes—is the perfect combination when the occasion demands formality. While monochrome separates may invoke images of your office boardroom, try out with a few alterations like ditching the tie or substituting the shirt altogether for a lightweight knit or polo shirt for a razor-sharp informal, off-duty weekend look.
It’s For The Groomsmen Out There!
#WeddingsByBucco
“Remember, we all stumble; every one of us. That is why it’s a comfort to go hand in hand.” —Emily Kimbrough
Here’s a quick hack to mix and match your wedding suit or tux tones: Use differing shades of the same color that will offer you a unique look. For instance, the groom could wear a bright blue suit, while the groomsmen sport navy. You can achieve the same thing with gray. It’s a subtle, yet not-so-subtle, twist that can differentiate the roles of members in your wedding party, and also add great versatility to the overall look.
Choose Flannel Shirts For Cool Friday Look
#FreestyleFridays
For a cool look, pick a checked flannel shirt and pair it with casual legwear such as jeans and chinos, or textured wool pants for a somewhat smarter take. When it comes to footwear, check classic, casual boots – styles like Chelseas, Derbies and chukkas in suede or leather – and ensure the color of the uppers either creates or complements a surprisingly pleasant contrast with the rest of the pieces of the outfit.
Cargo Pants – Cool Men’s Wear In 90’s
#ThrowbackThursdays
Cargo pants were a cool men’s wear in the bygone ’90s. It came with many pockets so that boys could carry their wallet, Gameboy and even a pager device; these pants were practical and in vogue. While originally worn capacious and baggy, present day cargo pants throw a look with a slim or tapered fit.
Stay Warm By Layering Up Sweater With Suit
#WearitWednesday
Sporting an all-season wool suit? You’ll have to make up for the dearth of warmth by layering up with long johns and thermals. Alternately, you can also add mid-layers including a sweater or thin quilted vest underneath your suit jacket.
Pocket Squares Can Add A Zing To Your Suit
#TeachingTuesdays
Pocket squares add a lot of oomph to your outfit, but ensure that it doesn’t match with your tie in either fabric or pattern choice. Before you dress yourself to be conservative, remember that the pocket square is where you get the most freedom and the one place to add a little zing to your favorite suit.
A Navy Blazer – Must Have Office Outfit
#MotivationalMondays
“When life gives you Monday, dip it in glitter and sparkle all day” – Ella Woodward
If there’s a must-have outfit in your fall office closet—besides a sweater of course—it‘s a good blazer. You never know when you’d need it the most to freshen up or sharpen your look, and feel your best, especially when the winter is round the corner. Here’s a Navy Blazer, a comfy, unstructured suit jacket, where the use of canvas is minimized. It has less lining on the interior and a thin shoulder, making it extremely lightweight and breathable.
Go Floral For This Fall Wedding
#WeddingsByBucco
“You are the love that came without warning; you had my heart before I could say no.” — Unknown
Are you a groom who wants to glow floral this fall? There’s no harm as long as you don’t overdo things. A floral tie? Absolutely. A floral jacket? Much difficult to pull off – but props if you’re able to do it to precision.
Add Layers to Your Regular Sweatshirt
#FreestyleFridays
A slight variation from your regular sweatshirt and just as comfy, the half-zip is a welcome addition to your weekend wear. Layer it over a plaid flannel; add colored chinos and a pair of leather slip-on Chelsea boots for a look that works exceedingly well, whether you’re at home or chilling out with your pals.
