Single Pleated Flat Trousers Of 1940’s

#ThrowbackThursdays
In the 1940’s, the suit trousers, slacks or pants were generally flat-fronted or featured single pleats. These pants were worn at the high waist with a 3-inch waist band. Trouser legs were wide about the ankle contrary to today’s “skinny” suits. Normally, they were either straight hemmed at the bottom, as required during the war, or featured 2-inch trouser cuff (turn-ups) which most men in the US preferred.

Havana Suit A Cool Looking Semi Casual Outfit

#WearitWednesday
Well, we have been talking of winning. And a suit can make you an ultimate winner like the Havana suit. It is cool and has a semi-casual vibe than other suits. The suit, made of pure wool, features bold, almost chalky pinstripes. It is a double-breasted jacket with slim-tailoring and a distinct, yet flattering touch. This men’s suit is an excellent option for casual Friday (preferably with sneakers), or you can wear it to a wedding.

Keep An Eye On The Collor Gap

#TeachingTuesdays
Watch for Collar Gap
Look for collar gap as you may not be able to see it, but everyone around you can. The collar of your suit jacket, if it does not properly fit to your neck, will move away from the shirt collar, producing a gap. Though this can be due to a number of reasons, and if it isn’t that severe, a good tailor can usually fix it. But if it’s a bigger problem, anything more than a small gap, you need to be careful while buying a suit, unless of course you have help at hand.

Get Winning With A Wool Suit

#MotivationalMondays
“Winning is not everything, but the effort to win is.” – Zig Ziglar
Winning isn’t everything, but here is a winning suit that will make you a champion for life: the wool suit. Practically customizable, recommended suit colors include navy and grey. Check for a range of fits of the blazer including Athletic, Slim and Standard, in addition to Slim, Athletic, Straight, Standard and Tailored cuts for the pants. This makes the suit perfect for men who are larger on top, though it doesn’t guarantee a bespoke fit.

Choose Black Suit For City Wedding

#WeddingsByBucco
“A person’s character is but half formed till after wedlock” – Charles Simmons
Here’s a brilliant black suit for city weddings: it comes with a standard lapel, a safe choice for lapels, classic yet stylish. I’d recommend the suit fabric to be preferably 100 per cent wool like Tarantino, and that it be tailored with all the style choices you make—single-breasted jacket, standard lapel and two pockets amongst others. This suit helps you not just build your wedding look, but a positive attitude as well!

How To Style A Tweed Jacket

#FreestyleFridays
How to style a tweed jacket? Because tweed is itself a highly informal fabric material, you can easily team it up with denim for a casual look. Ditch the tie, and try pairing the tweed jacket with leather chukka boots for a more rugged look, or dress it up slightly with brogues or loafers. If you’re looking to pair tweed jacket with denim, pick a warmer toned tweed or maintain the classic look with simple variations of grey.

Match Your Waistcoat With Jacket

#ThrowbackThursdays
If you’re going to stand by tradition with a waistcoat, then you just can’t take tweet material out of the equation. For a timelessly classic look, go for a waistcoat that syncs with your jacket. This doesn’t necessarily mean that they be of the same color, but can be neutral tones such as brown, grey or khaki. For an even more sophisticated look, team up the waistcoat and jacket with tailored chinos or jeans. For a vintage look, pick wool trousers or even all-over tweed. Accessorize the outfit with boots of black or brown brogues to complete the effect.

Jacket And Button Down Shirt A Killer Combo

#WearitWednesday
Yes, we’re talking about attitude and more of it. While a jacket and button down shirt is always a killer combo, why not try wearing your jacket with a white turtle neck or t-shirt on? Choose lightweight fabrics such as cotton like merino especially when it is warm, and cashmere during the colder months. Accessorize with a stylish brogue, or pair with a white trainer—again, an easy way to breathe life into your suit.

Birdseye/Nailhead Woven Fabric

#TeachingTuesdays
Do you care about your suit fabric as much as I do? Let me help you navigate some fabric weaves! I love the Birdseye/Nailhead woven fabric. Birdseye is a small, repetitive woven pattern similar to small diamonds. I recommend the pattern for those who like solid suits, yet look for a bit of extra visual interest with respect to texture.

Navy Suit To Increase Your Monday Attitude

#MotivationalMondays
“Sooner or later, those who win are those who think they can” – Richard Bach
It’s often said that it’s your attitude that determines your altitude. This week, therefore, we will deal with how men should wear attitude in their sleeves! If I need to stock only one suit in my wardrobe, I would rather go with the popular wool navy suit. Navy goes superbly with anyone’s complexion, and commands totals professionalism. I recommend you select a tailored, bespoke fit than a ready-to-wear one when it comes to wearing this suit. If you’re inspired by the regal look, pair the outfit with a men’s overcoat if it gets too chilly and windy outside. That’s quite an attitude, right?

Tailcoat – Most Formal Wedding Suit

#WeddingsByBucco
“Marriage is another momentous life change. Choose right, and it might be the most positive decision you ever make.”– Patrick Foley
The tailcoat is considered the most formal choice of all wedding suits, Usually, it comprises a back tailcoat, which is worn open as it fits the body comfortably; a pair of pants; a bow tie; a white shirt with a detachable collar; Marcella waistcoat and patent leather shoes. And you needn’t necessarily be a super elite to sport this exquisite look!

Get The Spring Style Casual Look

#FreestyleFridays
As we deal with change throughout this week, Spring, or rather a transition of season, is finally upon us, and warrants more outfit changes. Spring can easily remind you of your early school days; a bright primary color accessory is the perfect addition to both your workday and weekend outfit. Paired with a suit or dress pants in a neutral shade, a primary color piece will surely pop. Between, one of my favorite combinations is to pair a light-wash cargo and simple white t-shirt with at least one primary color accessory. Layer the outfit with a bold jacket to your otherwise simple outfit, and you’re ready to go.
