Tailcoat – Most Formal Wedding Suit

#WeddingsByBucco
“Marriage is another momentous life change. Choose right, and it might be the most positive decision you ever make.”– Patrick Foley
The tailcoat is considered the most formal choice of all wedding suits, Usually, it comprises a back tailcoat, which is worn open as it fits the body comfortably; a pair of pants; a bow tie; a white shirt with a detachable collar; Marcella waistcoat and patent leather shoes. And you needn’t necessarily be a super elite to sport this exquisite look!

Get The Spring Style Casual Look

#FreestyleFridays
As we deal with change throughout this week, Spring, or rather a transition of season, is finally upon us, and warrants more outfit changes. Spring can easily remind you of your early school days; a bright primary color accessory is the perfect addition to both your workday and weekend outfit. Paired with a suit or dress pants in a neutral shade, a primary color piece will surely pop. Between, one of my favorite combinations is to pair a light-wash cargo and simple white t-shirt with at least one primary color accessory. Layer the outfit with a bold jacket to your otherwise simple outfit, and you’re ready to go.

Early 20th Century Outfits

#ThrowbackThursdays
Here’s a suit with fine western touches. The jacket flaunts early 20th century style cuffs, a ticket pocket, and an ornate handwork buttonhole found on the lapel. The vest comprises a matching bias cut Western style yoke, giving it a modern cut—that is both chic and youthful. The charcoal and maroon check suit disrupts the idea that plaid fabrics are suited only for daytime wear.

Nothing Can Match A Tailored Bespoke Suit

#TeachingTuesdays
This Spring, there is every reason for you to transition to custom, bespoke men’s fashion. And here is why:
A tailored outfit is usually made of the finest fabric possible. The fabric material is chosen meticulously and ethically. It follows a ‘perfect fit’ regime that readymade wears fail to deliver. Nothing can match a bespoke tailored wedding suit, however much you shell out on ready-to-wear suits. Minute details matter (as small is big!) and that is where a tailored approach holds the key to success.

Make A Transition For This Monday

#MotivationalMondays
“Life moves on and so should we”― Spencer Johnson, Who Moved My Cheese?
Talking about change, let’s make a transition from the regular Two-and Three-button suit to Single-button suit. The one-button suit jacket is the go-to-suit if you’re looking for a cool, hip look. The single button crafts a low V from the lapels, underscoring the lengthening/slimming effect. The one-way button is perfect as your Monday wear. This style is great for flaunting your shirt/tie combo, too. On the flip side, however, you run the risk of appearing a bit unconventional in excessively ‘formal’ environments.

Mind Your Suit Mistakes – Part 2

SPRING IS UPON US—WATCH WHAT YOU WEAR – PART 1

As we move further into the year, the season of Spring beckons us with a lot of hope, promise and excitement, and invites us to come out and see life afresh. Spring is a season when men’s dress becomes colorful, bold and less restricted by the conventional do’s and don’ts. Collar workers hit the office wearing hoodies and streetwear, whilst designers reimagine tailoring: change is permanent and everywhere. Spring infuses a new sense of life and color into style, and here is what I recommend men to wear this season:

Tailoring is here to stay:
Just when you thought tailoring is all over, it comes back right in. Wear a suit and you’ll be tagged as a C-suite executive or someone wanting to rock your first date or may be both. But there is always space for the unassuming two-piece, as tailoring takes the innovative route with oversized cuts (rather than form-fitted), daring and bold pastels and creams replacing navy and grey, and the tie ditched (for all the good reasons). What’s more encouraging is the shift of attention to print and embroidered floral pattern on bright colored shirts. The suit is making a comeback, but not the way we thought it would be.

Utility Wear
Utility:
Utility clothing pieces, surprisingly, has set the fashion scene on fire. Technical fabrics, work wear, fire-fighter jackets and commando-sole shoes, long known for their function than form, are fashion pieces this season. More and more people are seeing practicality in military-inspired clothes reconceptualized as designer gear. Now then, what do they hold for us?
You can’t but simply expect such outfits to be having a lot of pockets. Think about war core tactical gear, boiler suits and even cargo trousers that will add oomph to your mode of clothing. Now, you will not have any problems with these on if you’re a confident streetwear, and may be pull them off in style, but for the rest of us, I best feel this is a trend best embraced sneakily. You can pair wearable luggage and cargo trousers with civilian outfit like tees and sweatshirts. If you’re daring enough, then go for a utility vest such as an overshirt, again with regular tops and in pared back palette including beige, khaki and black—easy on the eyes. Thus, we see that both function as well as form seems to be the prerequisites for clothing trend this Spring. More to come in the subsequent part series of the blog.

Feel Invincible With Shiny Black Suit

#WeddingsByBucco
“Marriage is like watching the color of leaves in the fall; ever changing and more stunningly beautiful with each passing day.”
Wearing this suit, no wonder, makes you feel as if you’re a black belt champ in fashion and partying. This shiny suit armor will make you feel invincible on your big day…and the moment you put on this black suit, you turn a cynosure of attraction. Blend into the stillness and darkness of night, you still have plenty of eyes following you wherever you go!

1920’s Fashion Inspired By Golf Stars

#ThrowbackThursdays
In the 1920’s, much of men’s clothing fashion was inspired by what popular athletes like Golf stars Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen wore, including the plus-fours, plus-sixes and plus-eights pants layering them with colorful Fair Isle sweaters (multi-pattern, multi-colored sweater styles). The popularity of tennis ensured the white trousers and V-neck sweaters swayed influence over young folks around town.
However, the sports influence wasn’t restricted to golf and tennis stars alone, as popular footballers like Red Grange promoted the coat phenomenon. Red was instrumental in introducing the raccoon coat and the camel hair polo coat into the roaring 20’s fashion era.

Go Bold With Trying Out Loud Colors

#WearitWednesday
Put a new zing into the traditional semi-formal outfit by trying out with colors. Though most tailors advise against choosing anything too loud (a strict no-no against the standard semi-formal dress code), you can, however, experiment with a range of hued suit combinations that are trendy. Whether it’s forest green, powder blue, lavender purple, coral, or burgundy red, you’re almost guaranteed to make a bold fashion statement for acceptance.
